Through years of study, business, and technical work, art continued to call her back. She painted nature, explored musical instruments, and searched for a language capable of expressing what ordinary words could not contain. Eventually, she found that language in intuitive abstraction.

Her paintings emerge where the indefinite and define meet. An inner impulse becomes a line; a feeling becomes movement; a vibration becomes color, repetition, space, or form. Her background in music, engineering, mathematics, and architecture flows naturally into her work, creating compositions that feel at once spontaneous and carefully balanced. Each piece carries its own rhythm—sometimes quiet and meditative, sometimes restless and powerful, but always alive.

Since making the United States her home in 2022, Liliya has continued to deepen her creative practice and expand the way she understands structure, perception, and possibility. Her ongoing architectural studies through Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design have opened new dimensions in her exploration of space and form, strengthening the dialogue between intuition and design that lies at the heart of her work.

Yet her art is not intended to be explained completely. It is meant to be encountered.

Each painting is an invitation to step beyond the visible—to pause, listen, and enter a world where logic becomes music and emotion takes form. What the viewer discovers there may be deeply personal: a forgotten memory, an unspoken longing, a moment of recognition, or the echo of something within the soul that has been waiting to be heard.
